Bell transferred the Model 412 production line from Hurst, Texas to Mirabel, Quebec in 1989. Canadian 412s received a new msn series in the 46xxx range. This is 412SP msn 36005 in the preflight hangar at Mirabel with the temporary registration C-GFNL. The first six Canadian-built 412s were delivered to Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. for offshore use in the Gulf of Mexico including this aircraft which became N22347.
