Delivered to Westinghouse Electric as F-27 N1000L in 1959. Reregistered as N291WX in 1966. To Fairchild-Hiller in 1967. Converted to an F-27F then to the University of California as N768RL in 1968. To the US Atomic Energy Commission in 1970 then to the Energy Research & Development Commission in 1975. To NASA in 1994 and reregistered as N432NA in 1995. Donated to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2000 and used as a ground trainer at Durant-Eaker Field, OK. Still there in 2012. Gone by 2014. Probably scrapped.
