The F-4D was moved to AMARC on 9 March 1989 and received inventory code FP223. It was registered to Fritz Enterprises, Taylor (MI) on 12 August 1998, but was scrapped at Tucson (AZ).

At Bergstrom AFB which closed in 1993 and became Austin-Bergstrom International. Modified to a Pave Phantom F-4D with AN/ARN-92 LORAN-D equipment. Aerial is visible on the top of the fuselage. Used to provide precise night navigational capability in the Vietnam war. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1989 and scrapped in 1998.
