World War II US Army Air Force 42-92113 was sold via the Reconstruction Finance Corporation to Braniff International (NC59748) in November 1945. In their fleet until March 1959, the aircraft was sold to Transair becoming CF-LJS. Re-registered CF-TAU in 1961, the registration format changed to C-FTAU before going to Lambair in 1973. The registration lapsed in 1977 as it was being used for parts to keep Lambair's other DC-3s flying.
