On display at Museum Pusat TNI-AU Dirgantara Mandala. This Mustang was taken on charge by the USAAF with s/n 44-84801. It was converted years later by Cavalier for supply to Indonesia under MAP. The Mustang was flown by Skadron Udara 3.

Of the 60 P-51s received by the AURI, around half a dozen are preserved. This 2-seater is painted to represent a Mustang which shot down a CIA-operated A-26 Invader off the island of Ambon in 1958 during the PPRI/Permesta conflict, in which Sumatran revolutionaries tried to gain independence. The real F-338 is displayed in Jakarta. This one is actually F-361
