The Oases Trophy contest in Egypt in December 1933 consisted of a two-day rally, the Circuit of the Oases, plus a speed trial. German-looking scenery, but owner Karl Schwabe made several flights to Africa with this plane. Before 1935 it was registered as D-2728. In February 1937 Schwabe crashed it during the Oases air rally in Egypt, which was won by a Ju 86, D-AKOP. Schwabe was killed in another crash as a Luftwaffe reserve officer in August 1937.
