Originally WB699 with the RAF, it was civilianised as G-AOJV to the Airways Aero Association in April 1956, but cancelled in August that year as sold to West Germany as D-EJAN, moving on to Spain as EC-BOI in May 1968. In August 2008 it was sold to the USA as NX199TD and painted in an all yellow RCAF colour scheme, fitted with a one-piece canopy and the undercarriage leg fairings removed. It was re-registered N47YC in August 2017, but written off on 15-07-2021 at Fall Creek Airport, Lebanon, TN., when the engine lost power soon after take-off and it descended into a wooded area.
