Delivered in 1941 as DC-3-362 (with Wright Cyclone GR1820 engines), then converted to DC-3(A) in 1953 (now fitted with Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp engines).

Carries "Flight Training Co. - Hayward" titles. Built new for TWA as DC-3-362 NC1949. Converted to DC-3(A) in 1953. Other registrations over the years N74B, N7NB, and N401JB. In 1983 this aircraft was severely damaged in a storm in Honolulu, HI, and was later scrapped.

N401JB was dismantled in 1985. King Skyliner was a Japanese tour operator which had contracted Horizon Cargo to conduct sight-seeing flights. The operation ended in litigation between Horizon Cargo and a company called Airgo. Airgo had a contract with Horizon to supply, operate and maintain this passenger DC-3 and a DC-3 freighter.

Kahili operated from 1979 to 1981, otherwise known as Trans National Airlines of Hawaii. This was an original passenger DC-3-362 first delivered to TWA as N1949 in 3.41, sold twelve years later as a corporate transport and converted to DC-3(A).
