The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (locally known as Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia) became an Agusta customer in 2003, when it received two A109E Power (9M-BOA and 9M-BOB). Then in 2010, the service introduced two AW139, the 1st of which can be seen here taxing towards the Agusta hangar at Subang (without the usually mounted rescue hoist). The 2nd AW139 carries registration 9M-BOD. Finally in 2018, two larger AW189 helicopters were purchased as 9M-BOE and 9M-BOF.
