This was the seventh F-15A built. It was assigned to Edwards AFB from 1973 - 1980. In November 1980 it was assigned to Chanute AFB for use as a ground instructional airframe and redesignated a GF-15A. When the base closed it was transferred to the Octave Chanute Air Museum. The museum closed in 2015 and the a/c was relocated to the Saint Louis Science Center in Saint Louis, Missouri. Transferred to the Combat Air Museum in Topeka at Forbes Field she is undergoing restoration. In 2025 outside on the ramp for the public to view.
