By 1985: 42nd Bomb Wing, Loring AFB, ME. 3 Mar 89: 441st Bomb Squadron/320th Bomb Wing, Mather AFB, CA. 10 Jul 89: Flew to Offutt AFB, NE, for display at the SAC Museum. Later displayed on pylons at the entrance to Offutt AFB.

57-6468 was the first production B-52G. At the time the photo was taken it was the oldest B-52 still in service, hence the name "Eldership". The aircraft was retired just one month later. The nose logo can be seen here
