Carries spurious 'DC-6C' marking on the fin, but this was actually built as C-118A 53-3282 which suffered a landing accident then was rebuilt by Slick Airways in 1957. Written off on 22 February 1960 when it landed 1200 feet short at Elmendorf AFB (PAED) during a GCA approach. (The captain used the wrong rpm, manifold pressure and flap settings.)
