After a ceremonial formation flight over the base (with a Dutch NH90, CH-47D, AS532U2, AH-64D, Alouette and a Bell 412SP), the SH-14D type within the Royal Netherlands Navy was retired. Entered service with Dutch navy designation SH-14B in 1980. Converted to SH-14D in 1993. Withdrawn from use in 2012. Became an instructional airframe at a school at EHBK.
