This aircraft was carrying out radio calibration training at its Coventry base on 17th August 2008, and whilst making an ILS approach to Runway 23 it collided with Rand KR-2 G-BOLZ making a visual approach. Tragically all four occupants of G-EYES and the single occupant of G-BOLZ received fatal injuries.

On 17th August 2008 G-EYES was engaged in flight calibration training and was making an ILS approach to Runway 23 at Coventry Airport when it was involved in a mid-air collision with a Rand KR-2 aircraft, G-BOLZ, operating in the visual circuit. There were five fatalities. Cancelled in January 2009 as destroyed.
