This Starfighter was stored at Koksijde since July 1982 until at least July 1988. It was seen preserved at Ledeberg until mid-1994, then to Baarlo 9the Netherlands) and then to Oosterland (the Netherlands) along the national road N59. At Oosterland it is painted with a Dutch serial, D-8030.

After introduction of the F-16 the Starfighters were put into open storage and remained so for many years.

Actually a Belgian Starfighter, FX45, this beauty is found on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, just off the N59 road between Oosterland and Bruinisse. Visible under the trees is Cessna 172 PH-JWS, which is also preserved here.
