The basic Su-25 model was used as the basis for a commercial export variant, known as the Su-25K (Komercheskiy). A total of 180 Su-25K aircraft were built built at Factory 31 in Tbilisi, Georgia between 1984 and 1989. The Slovak Air Force received 12 Su-25Ks and one Su-25UBK following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. The aircraft were based at the Slovak 33rd Air Base in Malacky-Kuchyna with this example now being on display at the super Múzeum Letectva Košice
