First flown as PT-STR and delivered to Comair as N256CA 26 June 1991. To South Africa in 2008 and leased to Zambezi Airlines July 2008, to Proflight Zambia when Zambezi folded. To Nationale Régionale Transport of Gabon January 2011. Damaged beyond repair 12 October 2011 at Port Gentil, Gabon when it left the runway on landing. Wreckage still at POG December 2024. On the 12th of October 2011, an Embraer 120ER Brasilia passenger plane operated by Nationale Régionale Transport sustained substantial damage in a runway excursion accident at Port-Gentil. There were 27 passengers and three crew members on board; four passengers suffered minor injuries.
