JA8625 was the second prototype MU-2, It made its first flight on March 27, 1964. and did a belly landing at Nagoya Airport on July 22, 1964. In 1965 the exterior was modified to an MU-2B and it was withdrawn from use. It was preserved on the roof of the terminal building with fake reg KA1969 and was removed in the early 1990s. Fate unknown. Probably scrapped.
