The first F-86 Sabre, after the type was redesignated from P-86 in 1948. This one became an EF-86A in March 1949, like others from its batch over several years. Initially on display here with matching FU buzz number, later changed into the PU version that actually belongs to the P-86 period. This jet was a development aircraft for most of its career.
