The L73 was a largish, luxurious biplane airliner equipped for night flying. The eight passengers seats could be converted to four bunk beds. Two L73bs, D-960 and D-961, were delivered to DLH and employed on a Berlin - Königsberg night service from 1927. They were upgraded to L73c standard with different engines in 1928 but D-961 crashed on 28 May 1928. Two more planes, construction numbers 10118 and 10119, were built for DLH in 1930 and sold to Bulgaria in 1931. Photo from: ETH-Bibliothek Zürich
