After building Jodel aircraft under licence, Wassmer designed its own WA.50, a modern glass-fibre four-seater first flown in 1966. It entered production with fixed landing gear as the WA.51 Pacific. The WA.52 Europe and WA.54 Atlantic only differ in engine power.
