Unfortunately the aircraft crashed and was destroyed shortly after takeoff from Chino California on 22 April 2019. Sadly, the pilot did not survive. It was the last of the four of the types built.

The last surviving example of four 1943/45-built 60-foot span scaled down prototypes of the proposed Northrop B-35 long-range flying-wing bomber. This one was rebuilt in 1993 and has since flown regularly at air shows powered by two pusher props.
