The very first Convair jetliner to be built, serving as company demonstrator initially registered N801TW in 1.59, then N8489H on certification as CV-880M. To TWA re-configured as standard 880 N871TW in 10.64 and wfu at Kansas City 12.73. AJI had great hopes of remarketing 14 of the 25 ex-TWA 880s but it was not to be. N880AJ languished at Mojave till nose removed for display in Atlanta and centre fuselage taken to Minneapolis for film about Sioux City United DC-10 crash
