Ameristar Jet Charter began in 1991 as an air-taxi carrier with a Lear Jet and a Beech King Air. They acquired more aircraft, including Falcon jets before expanding into Cargo , passenger and charter operations with lager aircraft (737s and DC-9s) after 2000. This Lear Jet was with the company from January 1996 until reportedly withdrawn a couple of weeks after this photo was taken. The aircraft went to West-MEC (Western Maricopa Education Center) in Glendale, AZ as an instructional airframe by 2017.
