Despite the diaphanous livery, the history of this "civilian" Hercules is quite dark. In its first 15 years of life it operated with the Gabonese Air Force, but from 1990 it went on to the US civil registry operating for Tepper Aviation. This last company has been cited on several occasions as a collaborator of the CIA carrying out tasks of transporting and delivering weapons and even guerrillas in different campaigns of the North American, being its first scene of operations in Angola. Currently, a company called JJS & D Llc from Willmington, Delaware appears as its owner.
