Built in 1981. Life Link III was formed in 1985 as a nonprofit consortium to transport critically ill patients. St Luke's Hospital, Duluth, joined as an early member of the group. Other members are listed on the fuselage side. In 1995 St Luke's withdrew and set up its own air operation under the title "Luke's One", with N222LL being repainted accordingly. St Luke's rejoined Life Link III in 2008. N222LL later moved to Colorado with Kauffman Land & Development LLC of Fort Lupton, CO
