Ex 44-22981, registered as N6244C in August 1955 and cancelled as sold to Honduras in November 1957, becoming FAH793 by April 1958. Returned to the US register as N136E in 1960 initially with the Esso Standard Oil Co (Guatemala) of Wilmington DE. Bought by Ewell K Nold of Houston TX in 1963 and after an aborted sale to Aden as VR-ABD, the aircraft was stored at Long Beach from 1965 until scrapped in 1972. Remnants of its Honduran titles and serial as well as VR-ABD are still visible. (photographer unknown)

Built in 1928. Still current on the register in 2021. In the 1930's it was owned by Walter Ballard, a pioneer pilot with TWA. Command-Aire built around 200 aircraft from 1928 to 1931 of which 116 were 3C3s. Six are reported to still exist.
