Very early "official" photo of a 'youthful' Wing/Commander Ken Wallis flying his first autogyro. (First registered on the 28th June 1961) Airfield location unknown but probably near his home of Reymerston Hall, Norfolk. Could be RAF Swanton Morley? Note the bare airframe as opposed to it's later update.
