Only 111 examples plus prototypes were built of the Ka-18 helicopter. This is the fifth series aircraft which, between 1959 and 1961, was registered as CCCP-64570 with Aeroflot's Moscow AG SPiVS (Aviation Group for Special Purposes and Aerial Photography), which presumably accounts for the very nice quality of this photo. To CCCP-06136 and -64570 but airframe already struck off charge in July 1963 as worn out.
