This Hip-H was flown on delivery to Pardubice (LKPD) in June 2005 and went on to serve with 232. vrl at Přerov (LKPO) and then 22. zvrl at Náměšť (LKNA). Unfortunately, the helicopter was severely damaged in November 2015 close to Zaragoza whilst taking part in exercise 'Trident Juncture'. Whilst hovering 15 m off the ground, and preparing to abseil a special forces team, it rapidly lost height, hit the ground and rolled over onto its side (fortunately with no loss of life). The hulk is now preserved at the small military facility on the west side of LKCR.
