In January 1984, the Hikou-kyoudoutai (Flight Training Squadron) of Nyutabaru Air Base painted the silhouette of a MiG-21 on the fuselage of their first T2 fighter jet using black and yellow. In this photo, you can see the paint patterns on the top and bottom of the T2's fuselage. The underside of the T2's fuselage is painted with deceptive paint.
