This aircraft was the last C-133 produced and is nearing completion of a restoration program at the AMC Museum. The cargo ramp was scheduled to be installed the next day with wing and tail fairings shortly thereafter. Aircraft will be on display at the Dover AFB open house in late May 2002.

My favourite exhibit at the superb AMC Museum. One of a handful surviving out of 50 built, the Cargomaster was designed as a long-range strategic airlifter, particularly for the transport of ICBMs. All were withdrawn in 1971 when metal fatigue was found. This example was delivered to the 1501ATW (MATS) at Travis AFB, CA in 4.61, the unit becoming 60MAW in 1966.
