Delivered to the US Army in February 1965 and transferred to the USAF in January 1967. Withdrawn to Davis Monthan in November 1983 ex 357th Tactical Airlift Squadron/908th Tactical Airlift Group, Maxwell AFB, AL. Transferred briefly on loan to the Pima museum in 1987 and sold via Western International to Interocean Airways of Mozambique as C9-ATE in March 1989. Out of use and derelict at Brakpan, South Africa by 1997 and later scrapped.
