This historic aircraft was the first Cessna imported into Australia, for Macrobertson Miller Aviation Co. in 1937. It was used on the Adelaide-Whyalla run until late 1939 when it was flown to Perth and used by Macrobertson Miller Airlines on services in Western Australia. MMA sold it in 1948 and it has had a succession of private owners since. Fully rebuilt at Bendigo by Ray Goulding between 1988 and 1995. Seen here at the AAAA National Fly-in.

This rare aeroplane is the one and only Aircorp Bushmaster. Fifteen years ago this was the prototype of an intended production series, but as far as I know this was the only aircraft completed. It was originally powered by a Norton rotary engine, with a Lycoming O-235 as an alternative.

Where once the Viscounts came to train... Originally an RAAF base, Mangalore was developed after the Second World War as a diversion aerodrome for when Melbourne/Essendon was fogged in, its location north of the Great Dividing Range giving it good weather when the weather in Melbourne was bad. The field is still much as it was then. The nearest runway is 05/23, the photo looking east toward the township of Avenel.

This is the only WT-9 Dynamic on the Australian register, though there is also thought to be an RAAus-registered example in WA. This one was first registered on 28 June 2006. Aerospool is based in the Slovak Republic and has previously glider parts-manufacturing and repair - hence the all-glass structure of the Dynamic.
