Seen following a heavy rainstorm, this aircraft was on old 'friend' regularly seen on my travels in Belgium, ex RM-9/OT-ZAI of the Belgian Airforce, a real surprise in Florida.

Imagine finding one of these things parked in Minnesota!

Built at Luton in 1955 and here serving the Second Tactical Air Force Communications Squadron.

Newly built Luftwaffe Pembroke exhibited at the 1957 Farnborough air show. Later given serial 5404.

This Pembroke served as the personal aircraft for the commander of RAF Germany.

This aircraft is part of the Air Atlantique Classic Flight.

This was my place of work where even taking a camera into the premises was a disciplinary offence. I managed to snatch this photograph at lunch-time when no-one was about. In 1989 this aircraft went to the Vallance By-Ways Collection, which became the Gatwick Aviation museum ten years later.
