Oops. There should have been a small airshow at Mar del Plata over the18-19 January 1997 weekend but as you maybe can see, a thunderstorm prevented that from happening. It took this Skyhawk from its pedestal, and nearly our aircraft from the runway, the previous night... Spuriously marked '3-A-314', it should really be 3-A-408, it is now preserved just SW of Mar del Plata at Batan aeroclub as '0667/3-A-314'.

The serial FAB-634 was issued twice. This particular one is former French 21400, it was delivered as F-ZVLD through Glasgow 19 June 1985 and ended up at the PMA as a assembly/disassembly trainer. Seen from 1994 to 1997, it was probably scrapped shortly after. The other FAB-634, former F-ZVLJ/21132 was upgraded in 2001 and flew around in special anniversary colours and is now stored. In case you are wondering: it was seen at the same day, 9 January 1997 as 21132 stored at La Paz! So I suspect it only took up FAB-634 after its upgrade. Also, many T-33s are composites of two halves...

Hardly visible but I assure you this is FAB-717. I was not able to check its identity, operated by the Red Devils Task Force under DoSAW control. No reports after this sighting anymore, so it probably moved on to another theatre of operation?

FAB-620 is a bit of a mystery bird. It was involved in a mid-air collision with FAB-619, causing the crash of the latter on 10 October 1982. Later it was seen in use as an instructional airframe at PMA in Cochabamba marked FAB-620 from 1994 to 1997 at least. In 2015 it was reported without serial. It used to be tied to former Canadian 21115 but that was struck off charge in November 1959 after a crash.

FAB-614 was struck of charge by Canada as 21325 in November 1970 and became CF-ADY in October 1972, to N325Ds later and was subsequently delivered to Bolivia in August 1976. FAB-614 was upgraded by Kelowna and damaged in Panama during its redelivery by an exploding oxygen bottle in November 2001. It made it to Bolivia and its fuselage was in use as a travelling exhibit between 2007 and 2010. Its current whereabouts are unknown.

Most Bolivian Air Force units use some Cessnas as station hacks. Also, from the nineties until the present day, many impounded drug runners were pressed into service forming liaison squadrons all over the country. This Stationair 6 suffered an accident on 5 February 2006 and its remains were last noted dumped at its home base Cochabamba in November 2007.
