The AS532U2 was shipped from Antwerp to Willemstad on 6 January 2014 and then started to serve as a forward deployed KLu assett for anti-narcotics operations and additional airlift from the Dutch ABC-islands. The Cougars operated from Hato until August 2015, and returned to the Netherlands with severe corrossion problems. It was declared damaged beyond repair by Logistic Center Woensdrecht and since stored and cannibalized at Gilze Rijen from 2017.

Stabilization Force Iraq (SFIR) markings. The Cougar was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 4 July 1998. It served from Talil air base (Iraq) in these markings. It made a last flight after it was damaged at Soesterberg in early 2008. The Cougar was transported to Woensdrecht for storage, but the KLu decided to make it airworthy again. A first test flight was made in September 2014 and is since active again. In early 2024, it went to Heli One in Rzeszow (Poland) for maintenance and was last reported in December 2024.
