Stabilization Force Iraq (SFIR) markings. The Cougar was delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 4 July 1998. It served from Talil air base (Iraq) in these markings. It made a last flight after it was damaged at Soesterberg in early 2008. The Cougar was transported to Woensdrecht for storage, but the KLu decided to make it airworthy again. A first test flight was made in September 2014 and is since active again. In early 2024, it went to Heli One in Rzeszow (Poland) for maintenance and was last reported in December 2024.
