This A320 began its service life on lease to China Airlines with the unlikely registration 3B-RGY, joining BMED in April 1997, by which time the airline was operating as a BA franchisee. To Indian Airlines as VT-EYA in March 2003, Sky Wings as SX-BTP in May 2011, Khors Aircompany as UR-CKS in April 2013, Zagros Air as EP-ZAI in November 2013 and Itan Aseman in June 2017, soon reregistered EP-APJ. Stored at Tehran-Mehrabad from June 2021

First operated by China Airlines on lease as 3B-RGZ, joining the BMED fleet in April 1997 and is seen here sporting the World Tails 'Crossing Borders' design. Went to Indian Airlines as VT-EYB in May 2003, Kyrgyzstan Aircompany as EY-621 in October 2010 and Air Bishkek as EX-32002 in July 2011. Was stored at Zhytomyr (Ukraine) from February 2016

Seen after BMI bought the ailing BMED operation. Became VH-YUD with Virgin Australia in April 2013, LY-MAF with Heston Airlines in January 2023 and YR-BUZ with Bees Airlines in March 2024

A rare shot of this ex-BMED A320, the former G-MEDA (my photo), in Indian Airlines' short-lived trial scheme. Acquired in May 2006, in August 2007 it was transferred to Air India before going on to Kam Air (YA-KMA) and Iran Aseman (EP-APG)

Seen at its Heathrow base and awaiting the commencement of services having been delivered new a few days earlier, this was the only aircraft to carry British Mediterranean's own colours. Beirut, Damascus and Amman were the first destinations, and in 1997 the airline became a British Airways franchise, flying 17 routes across the Middle East and Central Asia using six A320s in standard BA livery. Referred to as BMED from 2004, in 2007 it was sold to BMI. G-MEDA became VT-EYL with Indian Airlines 2006 (moving to Air India in 2007), YA-KMA with Kam Air in 2011 and EP-APG with Iran Aseman in 2015

Delivered to Airworld in December 1997 and leased by Ryan International from Flying Colours/JMC Air for winters 1997-2001. In February 2008 it passed from Thomas Cook to Ural Airlines as VP-BFZ. Stored at Greenwood, MS from November 2019 and broken up following year.

Delivered to Airworld in November 1997 and operated by Flying Colours from April 1999 (my photo), first appearing in JMC colours in April 2000. Reported as partially broken up after storage at Santa Barbara as N227NV of Allegiant.

Delivered to Airworld in November 1997 and flown by Ryan International as N714AW in 1998 and as G-BXKA during winter leases from Flying Colours (1999) and from JMC (2000 to 2002). The following two years saw winter leases to Canada 3000. In January 2008 it passed from Thomas Cook to Vladivostok Air as VP-BFY, in June 2014 to Hamburg Airlines as D-AHHH and in April 2015 to Allegiant Air as N227NV. Wfu and stored at Santa Barbara from November 2020

Delivered to Caledonian in April 1995 and taken over by JMC Air in March 2000. Later OO-TCB with Thomas Cook, XA-UCZ with Mexicana, EX-32004, ER-AXO and from April 2017 YR-SEA with Star East Airlines.

Delivered to America West Airlines as N280RX in April 1992, then Holiday Airlines as TC-GAB in June 1994 and Airworld in April 1995. Leased as EC-GKM to BCM Airlines for winter 1996/7 and to Mexicana, reverting to N280RX, in November 1997. Stored at Goodyear from May 2009 and broken up there next March.

First flown in February 1993 but not delivered to Caledonian until April 1995. Became OO-TCC with Thomas Cook in March 2002 and after reverting to G-BVYC, reregistered VT-EYK for Air India in March 2005. Transferred to Air India in August 2007, stored at Goodyear from July 2010 and broken up following year.

The fourth and final livery worn by G-BUSI, having been delivered in the Landor scheme in March 1990 (my photo), briefly carrying the 'British Blend' tail in 1998 (my photo) and then the 'Wings' tail till June 1999.

Delivered new in April 1995 and from JMC Air to Thomas Cook as OO-TCF from March 2002 to October 2004. Became VT-EYJ with Indian Airlines in March 2005 then UR-CJO in November 2011, operating for Aria Air and Iran Airtour before reregistration as EP-MML for Mahan Air and EP-APF for Iran Aseman. Stored at Tehran-Mehrabad from July 2019
