The Belgian Air Force still operates with the venerable SA316B Alouette 3. The helicopters are assigned to 40 smaldeel at Koksijde air base and will eventually be replaced by the NH90. The Alouette 3s were often deployed to a frigate in service for the Belgian Navy.
