This T-43A Gator flew for the first time on 1 June 1974 and was delivered on the 14th of that same month to the 455th Flying Training Squadron/ 323rd Flying Training Wing at Mather AFB (CA). The aircraft is preserved at Randolph AFB (TX) with 562nd FTS markings and a 'RA-tailcode' since October 2010.

This 737-253(A), designated T-43A Gator in USAF service flew first on 7 November 1973 and was delivered to the 455th Flying Training Squadron/ 323rd Flying Training Wing on 29 July 1974. It was retired to AMARC with inventory code AA TH0001 on 25 September 1997. It left the storage depot on 1 February 2001 for the civil market as N146JS. It was stored with Tucson-Western (AZ) up to April 2004. In April 2001, within its storage period with Tucson-Western, the 737 was sold to Jett Racing and Sales Inc. It was cancelled on 11 July 2019. The current whereabout and status of the aircraft are unkown

After serving the 323rd FTW (as pictured), this Tweety was transferred to the 12th FTW ('VN' tailcode) at Vance AFB up to the mid-ninetees. It then started a career as an instructional airframe at Autry Technology center, Enid (OK). Since July 2006, the T-37B is preserved on a pole at this location.

After its military service, this Tweety was stored at AMARG from 19 March 2003 onwards. The jet trainer received inventory code AA TE0156. It was still parked in the desert in early 2021.

This T-37B served the 454 Flying Training Squadron / 323rd Flying Training Wing up to 1993 and was then transferred to the 14th FTW and later to the 559th FTS/12th FTW. It arrived at AMARG for storage on 26 March 2003 and received inventory code AA TE0158. In 2008, it was selected for FMS sale to Colombia. In May 2009, the Tweety was flown over to the South American country as FAC2132.

After serving the 454th Flying Training squadron / 323rd Flying Training Wing from Mather, this Tweety was transferred to the 12th FTW at Randolph AFB (TX) up to 2003. On 19 Maerch 2003, the Tweety was stored at the 309th AMARG up to 05 March 2012. It was then sold to Pakistan as 59-0369/369.

After its military service, this Tweety was stored at AMARG from 22 November 1994 onwards. The jet trainer received inventory code AA TE0086. It was picked from AMARC inventory for renewed service with the 85th FTS / 47th FW ('XL' tailcode) from 2003. It was retired again from 23 November 2004 and received AMARG inventory code TE0241. It was still parked in the desert in early 2021.

This F-4C just arrived at Mather AFB (CA) from March AFB (CA) when this picture was made. The California Air National Guard Phantom was retired from the 196th TFS and parked at the 323rd Fighter Training Wing platform. It was some months later preserved at this location as a motivation boost for the USAF students of the Training Wing. From 1998 onwards, the Phantom is preserved at San Luis Obispo (CA).

Parked at a busy training platform of the 323rd Flying Training Wing at Mather. This Tweety was sold as part of the US Foreign Military sales program to Bangladesh as 72335 in December 1995. The T-37B served the Asian country up to 2016. From December 2016, the aircraft is preserved at a parade ground at Shamshernagar AB.

This Huey was delivered as an UH-1H and served the 126th MedCo within the California Army National Guard. The Huey was converted to UH-1V and became after military service N379SD from 11 February 2008.). The UH-1V was transferred to the US Department of State Air Wing as HY-03 and subsequently sold to Colombia as EJC-403. Before delivery is was modified to UH-1H-II. In October 2009, the Huey was reregistered to PNC-0743.

A nice short Huey! Once built as UH-1C, it was later converted to M. The helicopter was withdrawn from use in 1988, its fate is unknown.

A California Army National Guard Kiowa with sun-protection. The OH-58A was after its military career transferred to the civil market as N103WC with edgefield Aviation LLC, Northwest Mountain (OR).

This C-12D Huron replaced a T-42A Cochise (see my picture of 65-12730) within the California Army National Guard. The aircraft is seen here prior an engine test. The Huron was transferred to the Arizona ArNG in 1995 and later to the Richmond ArNG before it was retired to AMARC with inventory code 4C029. The aircraft arrived at Davis Monthan on 19 September 2017 and was transferred to HVF West on 17 August 2018 and was soon after this date scrapped.

This T-43A flew first on 15 Jan'74 and was delivered to the USAF on 28 Jan'74. After a career with the 455th FTS, it was assigned N5175U with EG&G (known as Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc., a United States national defense contractor). In Aug'89, the T-43A was transferred to the 58th ALS/86th FW at Ramstein AB (Germany) for VIP services. From Jan'94 it was stored at Phoenix, went to San Antonio (TX) late '97 and was assigned to the 310th AS ('HW'), later on with the 6th ARW. The T-43A was stored at AMARC as AA TH0003 from 28 Sep'01 onwards and eventually scrapped by Aug'18 by HVF West.

A military Beech 56TC Baron was designated in the US Army inventory as T-42A Cochise. Here you can see the aircraft serving the California Army National Guard. It was retired some months after this picture was made, and was replaced by a C-12D (82-23783). The Cochise was sold on the civil market and is currently flying from Bennett (CO) as N50780, still in the US Army colours.

This T-43A flew first on 2 Jul'74, it was delivered to the USAF on 12 Jul'74. The Gator was assigned to the 455th FTS, part of the 323rd FTW. After the Wing ceased operations, the T-43A went to the 558th FTS ('RA') in '96, later to the 562nd FTS ('RA'). It was retired to AMARC on 25 Sep'97 (AA TH0002) up to 03 Mar'99. It was selected for NT-43A conversion and was seen at Goodyear (AZ) for modification of radomes on nose and tail from Mar'00 to Feb'01. It is now a sneaky and rarely seen radar test bed.

11405 was one of 19 modified 737-200s in use with the USAF for training navigators. The T-43 was retired by the USAF Air Education and Training Command in 2010 after 37 years of service. They were initially assigned to the 455th Flying Training Squadron, part of the 323rd Flying Training Wing of the Air Training Command (ATC) at Mather AFB (CA). The 323rd was inactivated in 1993. 11405 made its first flight on 19 October 1973 and was delivered to the USAF on 4 November 1973. It was reited to AMARC on 19 April 2005 and received inventory code TH0005. It was scrapped by August 2018 with HVF West

The T-43 was retired by the USAF Air Education and Training Command in 2010 after 37 years of service. They were initially assigned to the 455th Flying Training Squadron, part of the 323rd Flying Training Wing of the Air Training Command (ATC) at Mather AFB (CA), plus two additional aircraft assigned to the Colorado ANG at Peterson AFB (CO) to support introductory air navigation training for cadets at the USAF Academy. The 323rd was inactivated in 1993.
