73-1155 leading a flightline of T-43A Gators. The modified 737-200 was used by the USAF for training navigators. The USAF had 19 on strength. The T-43 was retired by the USAF Air Education and Training Command in 2010 after 37 years of service. They were initially assigned to the 455th Flying Training Squadron, part of the 323rd Flying Training Wing of the Air Training Command (ATC) at Mather AFB (CA), plus two additional aircraft assigned to the Colorado ANG at Peterson AFB (CO) to support introductory air navigation training for cadets at the USAF Academy.
