This F27-200 Friendship VH-FNW was first ordered by All Nippon Airways on the 3rd of July 1963. First flight was under registration PH-FFV in June 1964.It entered the Japanese register as JA8632. it was later sold to Ansett Airlines on the 10th of November 1971 and registered VH-FNW.It entered service with Ansett Airlines of South Australia in 1971 and leased to MMA in June 1973. It was also flown by Bush Pilots and Air Queensland which sold it to Pakistan AP-BDF transferred to the Pakistan Air Force as 10254 on August 2 1994. Itcrashed into mountains in Feb. 2003 with fatal results.
