Phil Shotbolt deservedly won the award for the best restoration at the Air Britain Classic fly-in. The aircraft, built as a Tiger Moth in 1939 was converted to a Thruxton Jackaroo in the 1950s but it crashed in July 1968. It was restored as a Tiger Moth and has been beautifully rebuilt by Phil over the past five years or so
