Looking great in full NLM colours, the Fokker Heritage Flight F27 was unfortunately grounded due to insurance complications. This is a very historic aircraft, being the third F27 to fly and the first to be operated by an airline after Aer Lingus took delivery of her on 19th November 1958 as EI-AKA (subject of the original Airfix kit)

Nicely preserved at the Aviodrome in her original demonstrator colours, the second prototype Fokker Friendship had a long career with LTU, IFG and WDL as D-BAKI before acquisition for preservation in 1995. Actually the third F27 built, as the second was a static test airframe; parts of prototype F27 PH-NIV's fuselage are stored behind one of the hangars at Lelystad
