This exceptionally rare beast in Australia is seen arriving for static display at the Australian International Airshow. Produced for the Yugoslav Air Force as 23177, it was retired in 2000 and went to the civil Aero Club Galeb, Belgrade. It seems to have come to Australia since 2008 and appears to be operating from Lilydale, still under its Serbian registration. It carries '40th Anniversary' titles, possibly of the first flight of the type in 1961.

Backtracking just after dawn on arrival from Sydney. Unlike most of the Jetstar fleet, this aircraft has had an interesting previous history. Leased from ILFC, it was built for Jetstar Asia in 2005 and made its first flight as F-WWBE. Rego 9V-JSE allocated but probably never worn as it went straight to Turkish operator Atlas Jet as TC-OGO on 18 May 2005. In about 2007 painted in Saudi Arabian Airlines colours 'though continued to operate as TC-OGO. On 21 November 2007 re-reg VH-JQW.

This was one of 8 RAAF Hornets attending the Australian International Airshow. Built by CAC as a Block 20 Hornet, it was delivered on 29 January 1988. It suffered an engine fire in '93 and was repaired in the USA, returning in '95. Went to the Gulf on Ops Bastile and Falconer in 2003 & dropped the RAAF's first bomb in anger since the Vietnam war. Currently with 75 Squadron.
