Served with 78 Sqn Camden, 5EFTS Narromine, 8EFTS Narrandera. Post-War added to civil Register as VH-DFJ 25.3.58.

This infrequently-seen Texan was at the 2008 Antique Aeroplane Association annual charity Christmas Toy Run. Built to a wartime USAAF order as 41-710. Civilianised in 1946 and registered NC63051. Delivered to the South African Air Force in March 1952 as part of an order for 65 reconditioned T-6/SNJs. Retired in 1996 and sold by tender. Came to Australia and registered VH-LNT on 28 May 1997.

After the war it was civilianised as N61210. Currently in magnificent condition, this aircraft was registered in Australia as VH-EYC on 24 December 2007.
