Classic Tiger action! Ben holds the wing down for Sosh in a lively crosswind. Built by DHA Mascot to RAF Empire Air Training Scheme order for South Africa or Rhodesia and allotted serial DX818. Not delivered due cessation of shipping following Japan's entry into the war and stored at No.57 Wool Store, Alexandria, Sydney with many other EATS orders. Released to RAAF as A17-631 on 26.7.43. Served with 78 Sqn Camden, 5EFTS Narromine, 8EFTS Narrandera. Post-War added to civil Register as VH-DFJ 25.3.58.
