After ages parked at Myachkovo in fading ex Aeroflot Polar red colours, this An-30 was active and looking very tidy when seen here at Bykovo. Since passed to Lukiaviatrans and reported stored in 2016. Named after after a pilot killed when Tu-154 RA-85556 was blown up by terrorists in 2004

Visiting Bykovo is always a gamble - you never know whether it's going to be worth the photo fees. I was delighted to see this rarity land just before entering the ramp. Polet suspended operations in 11.14 and the An-30 was placed in store at Voronezh
