Built in 1950, imported in 1973 and here just transferred ownership from Victoria/BC in what can only be described as a brutal change of environment. On 21 July 2012 at Pigeon River/MB, it was wrecked while attempting to land at an abandoned airstrip.

Sitting it out on a crisp prairie winter day. Not much moves on days like this as the arctic temperatures are too hard on man and machine. Built in 1947 and C of R cancelled in 2006 for unknown reason. The final owner was a mechanic who died in 2014 so it is probably sitting in barn somewhere waiting to be found.

Still in Labrador Airways livery, having been acquired by locally based Sowind Air. Built for the US Army in 1958 and imported by Labrador Airways in 1976. Sowind Air operated it until exported to the US in 1999. Current as N49AW with PZL turboprop engine in 2022.
